The Blessing of the Animals, a popular annual event at Neumann University, will take place on Sunday, October 4, at 4:00 p.m. in Morgan Circle on the Aston campus. The event will open a weeklong celebration of the legacy of St. Francis of Assisi.
Fr. Jude Michael Krill, OFM Conv., will bless pets and animals of all kinds in the Morgan Circle, in front of the Bachmann Main Building. Last year, more than 50 pets – including hamsters, fish, parakeets, rabbits, dogs and cats – were among the animals that were blessed at the event that marks the feast of St. Francis, which is officially celebrated on October 4th.
All are welcome to this free event. For more information about the Blessing of the Animals, call 610-361-5307.
