Neumann will host a Help 4 Haiti Evening of Praise Concert on Sunday, March 21, at 5 p.m. The concert is sponsored by the University’s Christina Brame Gospel Choir to raise money for the people of Haiti in the aftermath of a devastating earthquake that struck the island nation last month.
The program will celebrate Haitian culture through song and dance, featuring performances by the 25-member Christina Brame Gospel Choir, the Neumann University Concert Chorale, and the Neumann University Praise Dancers.
Special guest performers include Ms. Jameelia Drinks of Philadelphia, PA; Yvette Roberts of Chester, PA; and the Zion Baptist Church Praise Team and Groupe Rayon D’Espoir from Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament in West Philadelphia.
The concert, scheduled for the Meagher Theatre, will include popular Gospel songs such as Oh Give Thanks, I Believe and Unto Thee.
General admission is $5 ($2 for Neumann students). All proceeds go directly to the American Red Cross for Haiti Relief.
