Ronan Quinn and Matt Glover will take the stage at Neumann’s Evening In Dublin.
Neumann University and the Arts Guild will host Evening in Dublin on Friday, January 7, 2011. This festive program, now in its eleventh year, starts the new year off in a new cultural location, Dublin, Ireland.
The black-tie fund-raising event will begin at 7 p.m. with wine and conversation in the Great Hall as guests dine on a host of culinary delicacies while listening to the sounds of the Theresa Flanagan Irish Band. Guests will be ushered into the Fred P. Meagher Theatre for a wonderful program featuring Ronan Quinn from Miltown Malbay, County Clare; Matt Glover, a multi-instrumentalist from Newfoundland and Nicholas Paulson, an Irish local, national and international prize winning dancer. After the show, the evening concludes with elegant champagne and dessert reception, and the opportunity to dance to music provided by the Peter Thomas Trio.
Other features of Evening in Dublin include a drawing for round-trip airfare for two to Dublin, Ireland, and the opportunity to bid on unique silent auction packages. Proceeds from the event benefit the arts at Neumann University. The program has raised more than $100,000 during the last ten years.
The Arts Guild at Neumann University includes Center Stage Productions, the University Concert Chorale, the University Jazz Band, the University Players, the Cultural Arts Forum, the Delaware County Symphony, International Ballet Classique, and Stages of Imagination Children’s Theater.
