Neumann University will host information sessions on October 19 to explain how you can earn a degree (B.S. or M.S.) or learn a useful skill in a variety of accelerated and convenient programs.
One information session will take place in the brand new Mirenda Center on Neumann’s campus at One Neumann Drive in Aston, Delaware County. The event starts at 5:30 and lasts until 7:00p.m. You may arrive at any time during the session to speak with a program director or academic advisor about B.S. or M.S. programs for adults.
On the same evening at the same time (5:30-7:00p.m.), Neumann will host a similar event in Phoenixville, where you can take non-credit classes in computer use, home repair, professional development and other areas. The Phoenixville session is scheduled for Franklin Commons, 400 Franklin Avenue, and includes a free seminar – Making Your Life Better, For Free – at 6:30 p.m.
The B.S. for Adults -- Aston
You can learn about Neumann’s undergraduate degree programs for adults, which are available in a classroom setting, completely online, or as a mix of online and classroom instruction.
You can earn a B.S. in Professional Studies, a business-oriented degree, by taking eight-week courses on weeknights or weekends. These hybrid courses (a combination of classroom and online instruction) let you take 3, 6, 9 or even 12 credits per semester, depending upon your schedule. If you’re at least 19 years old and have completed one year or more (30 credits) of college, this program is a perfect fit.
Courses include Professional Presentations, Decision-Making, Risk Management, Professional & Business Etiquette, Entrepreneurship, and Effective Communication.
Or you can earn a B.S. in Liberal Studies by taking semester-long courses (worth six credits each) either in class or online. If you’re at least 21 years old, this program is designed to work for you whether or not you have any previous college credit.
You can bring as many as 90 transfer credits with you into either program, and you may even earn credit for life experience. Academic advisors will be on hand to answer your questions and to get you as close as possible to a degree. Whatever option you choose, you can complete your degree in half the time it takes with traditional programs.
Neumann also offers traditional undergraduate evening classes in nursing.
