Dr. Leonard DiPaul has been appointed as assistant dean of education and human services. In his new role as assistant dean, DiPaul will oversee graduate programs in education at Neumann’s growing satellite locations. He will also develop, monitor, and oversee class schedules for undergraduate and graduate programs in education in collaboration with program directors, coordinators, faculty, and the dean of arts and sciences.
“I commend Dr. DiPaul on his many years of effective and skillful leadership of the program in pastoral and theological studies. I know he will bring his many talents to bear upon this new position as assistant dean,” said Dr. Gerard O’Sullivan, vice president for academic affairs at Neumann.
DiPaul will also guide outreach efforts for the Institute for Excellence in Catholic Education, in partnership with the Diocese of Wilmington; work with the division’s certification specialist to ensure timely reporting of teacher certification information to appropriate state offices; and assist the dean of education faculty in developing new initiatives.
