Neumann University will host an electronics collection on Saturday, October 20, from 9 a.m.-noon. The local community is invited to drop off their obsolete or unwanted electronics and the eForce Compliance will demanufacture/recycle the materials. The drop off spot will be the lower parking lot of the Rocco A. Abessinio building just off Concord Road at the main entrance.
Acceptable recycling items include: computers and accessories (keyboards, mouse, hard drives, printers, cords), all hard drives will be wiped clean; anything that plugs into a wall socket (irons, radios, old TVs, old video/DVD players, record players, microwaves, toaster ovens, coffee makers); electronics (MP3 players, cell phones, gaming units i.e. PS2 and 3, speakers); and any small items that use electricity.
No large items such as refrigerators, ovens, console TVs, washers, dryers or dishwashers will be accepted.
