Neumann University will host an open house for high school students and their parents on Sunday, March 24, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The open house will introduce prospective students to the many undergraduate majors at the university, and provide details about internship opportunities and the 21 NCAA Division III athletic teams on campus. High school students and their parents will have the opportunity to talk with financial aid professionals, meet Neumann faculty and current students, and tour the 68-acre campus.

“We offer a uniquely personal experience for students,” explains Dennis Murphy, vice president for enrollment and student affairs, “in a campus culture that emphasizes respect for individuals, career preparation, and social responsibility.” A student-faculty ratio of 14:1 allows professors to provide the personal attention for which Neumann is famous.
Neumann offers academic programs in arts and sciences, business and information management, education and human services, and nursing and health sciences. Popular majors include athletic training, business administration, criminal justice, psychology, and sport and entertainment management, as well as nursing and elementary education.
For every field of study, the university arranges comprehensive career preparation programs such as internships and co-operative education placements. Study abroad and service-learning programs provide even more opportunities for blending classroom theory with practical experiences.
“These career-oriented experiences allow students to test their job choices in a real-world setting and make solid professional connections that could lead to post-graduate employment offers,” says Murphy.
The undergraduate enrollment at Neumann is approximately 2,000. More than 850 students live on campus in modern residence halls in which every room is wired for cable and internet access. Activities include a variety of clubs and organizations as well as many opportunities for volunteerism and community service.
