Acclaimed Ragtime pianist, Don Kawash, and bass baritone, Randy Shupp, return to Neumann University with Timeless Broadway on Thursday, October 10 at 1:30 p.m.


Timeless Broadway comes to Neumann University on Thursday, October 10,
at 1:30 p.m. 


Join the rags-to-riches duo that features Don Kawash, an acclaimed Ragtime pianist, and the bass baritone, Randy Shupp, as they bring a performance featuring the greatest classics of Broadway and combine them to a present a funny and moving musical homage. Featuring early gems by George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin and Richard Rodgers, Kawash and Shupp will perform hits from Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Anything Goes, West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof and many more Broadway shows.


Local freelance writer, Ruth Rovner, raves, “Don Kawash and Randy Shupp are musicians who turn back the clock with their performances. They're drawn to the classics of American popular music and they're bringing that music to audiences who especially appreciate it. They've met with responsive audiences wherever they perform."


Timeless Broadway is presented by the Cultural Arts Forum, which for 37 years has been sponsoring events to support adult women students at Neumann University through the endowed scholarship named in honor of the founder of the Forum, Margaret Mary Kearney. Since its founding in 1970, the Forum has presented more than 240 events and seminars.


The performance will be in the Meagher Theatre, located in the campus Life Center.  Tickets are $8 for general admission. Admission is free for Neumann students/staff and Cultural Arts Forum members. Please contact Nicholas DiMarino at 610-558-5626 for more information.
