NU Partners with Canada’s George Brown College

The George Brown College Centre for Continuous Learning and Neumann University have reached a collaborative agreement that provides a direct pathway for graduates of George Brown’s distance education-based, technical training programs into an accelerated bachelor of science degree with Neumann University. ¬†Students who have completed their Electronics Technician Diploma and the Programmable Logic Controllers or PLC Technician II Certificate program through GBC can apply and, upon acceptance, transfer directly into their studies at Neumann to complete a bachelor of science in Professional Studies.

All courses on this degree path, at both George Brown and Neumann, are offered online, giving students the flexibility to balance a busy lifestyle while earning a university degree from home. “Not only does this allow students to obtain a degree with great flexibility in a much shorter period of time, it also allows for significant savings in the total cost of your degree, by obtaining a significant portion of your course credits through George Brown College,” said Colin Simpson, dean of Continuous Learning, George Brown College.

“We are very pleased that we have been able to partner with George Brown College to provide this unique international educational opportunity,” said Dr. Robert Bunnell, Neumann’s dean of Continuing Adult and Professional Studies. “Students will be able to get the best of both worlds, with George Brown College’s outstanding technical education, blended with Neumann University’s Professional Studies education. We believe it will be a winning combination, and we are delighted to enter this agreement with George Brown College.”

A world-leader in distance education, George Brown offers award-winning online technical training in Electronics, Electromechanical Studies, Robotics, and Programmable Logic Controllers.
