- Achievements: Dr. Mirenda is committed to the Catholic
Franciscan mission of the College, which is based on the belief
that knowledge, while valuable in itself, is best used in the
service of others. During the ten years of Rosalie Mirenda's presidency,
Neumann College has made significant strides and expanded its
postive impact on the region. Since she took the helm of the College
in the fall of 1996, the number of full-time students has more
than doubled, annual and capital giving has increased by more
than 30%, campus technology has been strengthened, team sports
have moved from eight to seventeen, five buildings have been added,
and new graduate and undergraduate programs have emerged.
