Master of Science in Sport Management: Admission Requirements

 

 

In conjunction with general admission requirements of the College, program applicants must:

  • Submit a completed Application Form or apply online for free.

  • Send official transcript(s) verifying an earned baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited four-year institution.

  • Provide three (3) letters of recommendation, with at least one (1) letter from a professional person and one from an academic individual.

  • Submit official results from at least one of the following: Miller AnalogiesTest, GRE, GMAT.

  • Document evidence of competency in basic computer skills, fundamentals of business organization, and accounting principles. (These can be demonstrated through either prior college-level learning or work
    experience).

  • Provide a brief written biographical sketch, including relevant experience and professional goals.

 

Once all admission materials have been received and processed through the Office ofAdmissions, the graduate Program Director/Coordinator will arrange for an interview, if appropriate, following a review of all candidate credentials. The determination of the student’s level of preparedness rests with the Coordinator of the Sport Management Program and the Dean of the Division of Business and Information Management. For those students who cannot demonstrate an acceptable level of competency, additional prerequisite coursework may be required as a condition of acceptance into the Master’s Program.
