Program Overview

Neumann’s Master of Science in Strategic Leadership prepares professionals to plan strategically and—of equal importance—to think and act strategically. Using an interdisciplinary approach, the program assesses students’ personal leadership qualities and develops their ability to lead themselves and others. Students discover and enhance their own philosophy of leadership as well as develop a strategic plan that is ready for implementation.

Program Design

The Master of Science in Strategic Leadership program is accelerated and focused to fit your schedule:

• 18 months from start to finish

• Each course lasts eight weeks

• Program offered in class or online

The program consists of 36 graduate credits, delivered as nine (9) four-credit courses in eight-week modules. Each course includes research and experiential learning components that culminate in the development of a strategic planning project. The strategic planning project is an applied method of learning whereby students synthesize theory and information— which is presented in the classroom, online, and in readings— to develop a problem-solving project related to their work place, affiliated organization, or career interest. All courses are taught in a cohort seminar style and are highly interactive, through classroom and internet activities.
