Hello Phoenixville

We came to Phoenixville in September of 2007.

Neumann College came to Phoenixville in September of 2007 to offer convenient, high-quality and affordable graduate programs to the residents of Chester and Montgomery counties.

We now have two, brand new smart classrooms and a computer lab at Franklin Commons, located at the corner of Franklin Avenue and Grant Street, just minutes away from the center of town and convenient to people who live or work anywhere from Malvern and Downingtown to Norristown and Lansdale.

An M.S. in Education cohort is up and running, and plans are underway for a fall 2008 launch of the M.S. in Strategic Leadership, a business-based program that teaches creative thinking and effective leadership. At Phoenixville, these programs are offered at a discount of 20% (Strategic Leadership) or more (Education).

Strategic Leadership

The M.S. in Strategic Leadership prepares you to think creatively and lead effectively at work and in the community . . . and to make a difference in the lives of others.

The program consists of 36 credits (9 four-credit courses, each of which lasts eight weeks) and is

completed in 18 months. The content is divided into three areas:

  • Developing personal and professional leadership

  • Leading an organization

  • Being ethical and socially responsible

Along the way, you'll learn about communication, group dynamics, financial management, organizational change, strategy development and other topics.

Education

The M.S. in Education makes it easy for busy teachers to continue their own education. You may complete the application online at any time. An advisor will work with
you to complete the file and help you through the admission process. GRE tests results are not required. Look for a new cohort to start in Phoenixville in the fall of 2009.

The program prepares you to assume an instructional leadership role in your school. You’ll be able to orchestrate assessment, teach to diversity, implement current teaching techniques, and become classroom innovators.

The program consists of 36 credits and can be completed in two years of part-time study. There’s even an option for obtaining your early childhood, elementary, secondary or special education certification or a principal certification.
