Stages of Imagination is a cultural and educational
organization whose purpose is to offer professional dramatic performances
to school-age children throughout the Delaware Valley. Each live performance
is an original work which has been designed to address important concerns
of school-age children, while instilling in them an appreciation of drama,
music, and dance.
According to Managing Director, Vicki Giunta, Stages of Imagination strives to "provide children with positive, empowering, and enlightening messages because at the very least, every child deserves to feel good about who they are and feel safe in their own environment." In addition to the live performances, Stages of Imagination has also created Audio Adventures, a combination of storytelling and music which increases listening skills, focuses attention on plot and character development and stimulates affective learning, where children learn through their emotions and experiences.
