One-Man
Drama on St. Francis Comes to Neumann
The son of a wealthy Italian merchant, St. Francis of Assisi spent his youth in
frivolous extravagance. Then he experienced a dramatic conversion and cheerfully
gave up all his worldly possessions to live a radical life of service and prayer.
Leonardo
Defilippis, director and star of the recently released motion picture, Therese,
will bring his one-man production, Saint Francis: Troubadour of God's Peace,

Festival, he launched his own production company, Saint Luke Productions. He has
won numerous national and international awards for his work, which includes John
of the Cross, The Gospels of Luke and John, The Confessions of Saint
Augustine, and Therese: The Story of a Soul. In addition to playing
a role in Therese, Defilippis also made his film directorial debut with the recent
movie.
