Adults - Earn Your Graduate Degree
or Finish Your Undergraduate Degree Right Here
Neumann will host two free information sessions this summer to
explain how it is possible for working adults to earn an undergraduate
or graduate degree in a variety of accelerated and convenient programs. For the first time, two of these degree programs are available entirely
online.
On Wednesday, July 26, at 6 p.m., College representatives
will be available to discuss Neumann's accelerated undergraduate
degree completion program for adults (liberal studies) as well as
the traditional adult undergraduate evening programs (business administration,
education and nursing). Starting this fall, the liberal studies
program is available completely online or in a classroom setting.
At the information session, professional staff members will provide
assistance in selecting programs that lead to specific career options.
Academic advisors will tell prospective adult students if work experience
can help them gain credit and bring them even closer to a degree.
The key to the accelerated undergraduate degree program is Neumann's
six-credit courses, which allow students to attend class just one
night per week and earn six credits each semester toward a degree.
The program is designed to work for students who have some previous
college experience as well as those without any college credit.
Students can bring as many as 90 transfer credits with them.
On Tuesday, August 1st, at 6 p.m., academic advisors and
program directors will be on hand to explain Neumann's graduate
degree options. Master's degrees are available in Education, Nursing,
Pastoral Care and Counseling, Sport Management, and Strategic Leadership.
The College also offers doctoral degrees in Physical Therapy (DPT)
and Education (Ed.D.).
- The MS
in Education can be completed at any of seven convenient locations
in five counties.
- Nursing
programs include an accelerated RN to MS.
- Pastoral
Care & Counseling combines spirituality with clinical
counseling skills.
- Just 15 months can lead to a master's degree in Sport
Management, a booming industry.
- A master's degree in Strategic
Leadership takes just 18 months. Starting this fall, the
M.S. in Strategic Leadership is available entirely online or in
the classroom.
- The new DPT
in Physical Therapy can be earned through a combination of
weekend academics and clinical experience.
- The new Ed.D. focuses on using substantive "action research" to address
pressing school issues and practical decision-making. The program
starts in January 2007.
Both information sessions are scheduled for the Rocco A. Abessinio
Building. All programs are open to new students and to transfer
students who want to find a personal and satisfying college experience.
The campus is located in the heart of Delaware County - easily
accessible from I-95, the Blue Route, Rt. 322, or Baltimore Pike.
For directions or to reserve a seat at either information session, call 610-558-5616.
