The Neumann Roller Hockey Club is back in familiar territory - #1 in the country in the Division II rankings. The club jumped from #6 in the country back to the top spot after a four-win weekend at a Winchester, Virginia, tournament.

In Virginia the Knights defeated four Eastern Collegiate Roller Hockey Association rivals, beating Temple University, 5-3; West Chester University, 7-1; Millersville University, 2-1; and Drexel University, 11-6.

Neumann, currently 12-2-1, has never been ranked lower than #6 in the country since the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association rankings system was established in the 2003-2004 season.

Next up for the Knights are four games this weekend: February 4 at 9:30 a.m. against the University of Maine and 8 p.m. against Hofstra University; and February 5 at 7 a.m. against Shippensburg University and 11:15 a.m. against Ball State University. All games are at the SportsPlex in Feasterville, PA, 30 minutes from campus. Admission to all games is free. For directions, visit www.ecrha.net.

Senior Ryan Sanford, juniors Victor Scotto and Corey Cramer, and freshman Steve Klenk have been named starters on the ECRHA Division II all-star team.
