The
Neumann Roller Hockey Club is back in familiar territory - #1 in the country in
the Division II rankings. The club jumped from #6 in the country back to the top
spot after a four-win weekend at a Winchester, Virginia, tournament.
In
Virginia the Knights defeated four Eastern Collegiate Roller Hockey Association
rivals, beating Temple University, 5-3; West Chester University, 7-1; Millersville
University, 2-1; and Drexel University, 11-6.
Neumann, currently 12-2-1,
has never been ranked lower than #6 in the country since the National Collegiate
Roller Hockey Association rankings system was established in the 2003-2004 season.
Next
up for the Knights are four games this weekend: February 4 at 9:30 a.m. against
the University of Maine and 8 p.m. against Hofstra University; and February 5
at 7 a.m. against Shippensburg University and 11:15 a.m. against Ball State University.
All games are at the SportsPlex in Feasterville, PA, 30 minutes from campus. Admission

Senior Ryan Sanford, juniors Victor Scotto and Corey Cramer, and freshman
Steve Klenk have been named starters on the ECRHA Division II all-star team.
