Knights Enter Postseason Ranked #3 in Nation
Neumann's
roller hockey club finished the 2005-06 season with a national ranking of #3 in
Division II. Their overall record stands at 15-3-2, including a 13-3-2 slate in
the Eastern Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (ECRHA) 18-game season.
The
ECRHA tournament is scheduled for March 3-4 in Feasterville, PA. Competition should
be tough with #2 SUNY Brockport 17-2-1 (15-2-1) and #5 Hofstra 14-5-1 (13-4-1)
joining Neumann as nationally ranked top ten clubs in the two-day eastern championship
tourney. Other ECRHA clubs in the Division II top 25 include #12 West Chester,
#13 Wentworth, #14 Albany, #15 Shippensburg, #19 Drexel, #22 Maine, and #24 Temple.
The National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association championship tournament
is set for April 5-6 in Morrisville, NC.
