Blessing of Animals Set for Sunday, October 1

The Blessing of the Animals, a popular annual event at Neumann College, will take place on Sunday, October 1, at 4:30 p.m. in the Rose Garden on the Aston campus. The event will open a weeklong celebration of the legacy of St. Francis of Assisi.

Fr. Jude Michael Krill, OFM Conv., will bless pets and animals of all kinds in the garden, located between Bachmann Main Building and the campus tennis courts. Last year, more than 50 pets – including hamsters, fish, parakeets, rabbits, dogs and cats – were among the animals that were blessed.
