Warm Smiles in Chilly Weather
Sweatshirts, jackets, caps and umbrellas were the order of the day at the third annual alumni picnic at a Wilmington Blue Rocks baseball game. Despite chilly weather and some intermittent rain that dampened the first few innings, there were plenty of warm smiles at Frawley Stadium on April 24th.
More than 140 Neumann alumni, faculty and staff gathered at the end of the right-field concourse to enjoy hot dogs, baked beans, soft drinks and each other’s company at the home of the Blue Rocks, a minor league team that’s affiliated with the Kansas City Royals. Some of the smiling faces from that night are captured below.
