The College Concert Chorale will present its annual holiday concert on Friday, December 1, at 8 p.m. in the Meagher Theatre. This year’s program includes several selections by Mozart in honor of his 250th birthday.

More than 60 men and women make up the College Concert Chorale. They will celebrate the genius of Mozart with performances of Ave Maria from Ave Verum Corpus and Alleluia from Exultate, Jubilate. The group will also sing some holiday favorites, including the Hallelujah from Handel’s Messiah, Gruber’s Silent Night, The March from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker and others.

Yukiko Ishida is the director of the Chorale, an ensemble that performs at college events, local churches, and civic affairs. A professor and coloratura soprano with international experience, Dr. Ishida teaches voice at Neumann. She is also soloist, music director and minister of music at Union Methodist Church in Havertown.

General admission to the concert is $5.  Tickets for students and seniors citizens are $3. To reserve tickets, call 610-558-5626.

The Chorus is one of eight groups that comprise the Arts Guild at the College. Other organizations are Center Stage Productions, the Cultural Arts Forum, the Delaware County Symphony, International Ballet Classique, the Neumann College Jazz Band, the Neumann College Theater Ensemble, and Stages of Imagination Children’s Theater.
