Campus-wide Earth Fest Set for April 16-20
Caring for the environment is an issue that fits squarely within Neumann’s Franciscan tradition. In the week leading to Earth Day (April 22), the campus will celebrate its second annual Earth Fest with many activities.
Monday, April 16
Noon – Celebration of Earth liturgy in Sacred Heart Chapel
Tuesday, April 17
Noon to 5 p.m. – Campus clean up
Noon to 5 p.m. – Crafts, tie dye t-shirts, and plant-a-flower in the Courtyard
Wednesday, April 18
5 to 7 p.m. – An Inconvenient Truth and panel discussion in Bachmann, room 60
Thursday, April 19
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Blue/Green Day (wear the colors that show you care about the earth)
3:30 to 4:30 p.m. – Nuclear Energy Misunderstood? in the McNichol Room, Life Center
Friday, April 20
10 to 11 a.m. – Tour of Red Hill Farm (solar power)
11:15 a.m. – Labyrinth walk
