Jazz Up the Holidays With Music

Catch the holiday spirit at a live performance of popular Christmas songs. The College Jazz Band will perform seasonal favorites and other tunes on Wednesday, December 6, at 8 p.m. in the campus Life Center.

In addition to big band and contemporary arrangements, the 15-piece group will welcome the holiday season with songs like Angels We Have Heard on High, God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen, Silent Night, Joy to the World, White Christmas, and Winter Wonderland. According to director Richard Sayers, the audience might also be treated to a musical visit from the Grinch.

The concert is also scheduled to include the first performance of the newly established Neumann Wind Ensemble, who will play a few light classical and seasonal favorites.

General admission is $8. Tickets for students and seniors are just $5 each. For more information and to reserve tickets, call 610-558-5626.
