Coming to Five Locations This Fall

New classes for the Neumann College master's degree in education are forming this spring to start in Chester County, Delaware County and Philadelphia this fall. With the Phoenixville site set to open (pending Middle States approval of the site), Neumann now offers the entire MS in education program, which can be completed in two years of part-time study, at seven locations throughout the Delaware Valley.

Designed for classroom teachers (or those who would like to become teachers), the Neumann College program focuses on applying cutting-edge instructional theories to practical situations that teachers encounter every day. The goal is to make each student a master teacher. Graduates of the program will be able to orchestrate assessment, teach diversity, and incorporate technology in contemporary education.

Options are available for adults to earn a master’s degree in education or the MS with certification in any of four areas: early childhood, elementary, secondary or special education.

The master’s degree program also assists teachers in meeting Act 48 mandates for professional preparation. Neither GRE nor MAT is required for admission to the program, and Neumann will accept up to nine graduate transfer credits.
