The Nutcracker by International Ballet Classique
International Ballet Classique will perform The Nutcracker, a timeless Christmas classic, at Neumann College on December 13-17.
A one-hour, abridged version, created especially for children, is scheduled for December 13 and 14 at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. each day. A full production of the show is set for December 15 and 16 at 7:30 p.m. and for December 17 at 2 p.m.
This beautiful ballet follows Clara and her Nutcracker doll on an enchanted journey into a child’s imagination. Along the way, they do battle with the Mouse King, meet the Dancing Snowflakes and the Sugar Plum Fairy, and the revel in the enchanted Land of Sweets where the toys come to life to entertain Clara and her Prince.
Admission to the full production is $20 (just $16 for seniors and students). The cost of the abridged version is just $6 per person. For more information, call 610-558-5626.
