Earth Mama Concert


The Neumann Institute for Franciscan Studies and the Care of Creation Council will sponsor the Earth Mama Concert to kick-off this year's Earth Week Celebration. The concert will take place at the Franciscan Spiritual Center at Our Lady of Angels Convent on Tuesday, April 15, at 7:00p.m.

 

Joyce Johnson Rouse (Earth Mama) grew up on a farm in Iowa where the music of the Earth touched her at an early age. She has been singing and writing ever since. Rouse has a master's of arts in Earth Literacy and has extensive music and theatrical training. She has traveled the country for more than ten years, spreading the concepts of Earth connection and sustainability. Earth Mama's motto is Helping Heal the Planet One Song At A Time. Her concerts are appropriate for children and adults of all ages. Admission is free, but free-will donations are gladly accepted.
