Information Sessions for Adults

Neumann College will host information sessions in two locations on February 26th to explain how it is possible for working adults to earn an undergraduate or graduate degree in a variety of accelerated and convenient programs.

One information session will take place on Neumann’s main campus at One Neumann Drive in Aston; the other will be at Franklin Commons, 400 Franklin Avenue, Phoenixville, Neumann’s newest off-campus site. Both sessions begin at 6 p.m.

Undergraduate Programs: Aston and Phoenixville
College representatives will be available at both locations to discuss Neumann’s Finish College Now degree-completion program for adults.  Finish College Now is available in a classroom setting, completely online, or as a mix of online and classroom courses.

The Finish College Now program is designed to work for students who have some previous college experience as well as those without any college credit. Students can bring as many as 90 transfer credits with them, and academic advisors will examine work experience to get each adult student as close as possible to a degree.

The undergraduate degrees available to adults are the B.A. in Behavioral Science, B.S. in Health Care Administration, B.S. in Human Resource Management, A.A./B.A/B.S. in Liberal Studies, and B.S. in Organizational Leadership. At the information session, professional staff members will provide assistance in selecting programs that lead to specific career options.

At the Aston campus, Neumann also offers traditional undergraduate evening programs in business administration, education and nursing.

Graduate Programs: Aston
Neumann offers master’s degrees in Education, Nursing, Pastoral Care and Counseling, Sport Management, and Strategic Leadership. The College also offers doctoral degrees in Physical Therapy (DPT) and Education (Ed.D.).  On February 12 at the Aston campus, academic advisors and program directors will be on hand to explain every graduate degree option.

Master’s degree highlights include:

  • The M.S. in Education, which can be completed at any of nine locations in five counties

  • Graduate nursing offerings, including an accelerated RN to M.S. program

  • Pastoral Care and Counseling, which combines spirituality with clinical counseling skills

  • The M.S. in Sport Management, providing preparation for jobs with professional teams, sports or athletic clubs, sports marketing corporations, and universities

  • The M.S. in Strategic Leadership, which can be completed in 18 months

Graduate Programs: Phoenixville
The Neumann College master’s degree in Strategic Leadership is an accelerated program that can be completed by attending class just one night a week for 18 months. Starting in April, the program is available in Phoenixville as well as Aston.

The master’s program prepares adults to apply practical leadership techniques to both corporations and non-profit organizations. Students will learn to identify their own leadership qualities, articulate a leadership philosophy, develop a leadership style, and apply pragmatic leadership theories to professional situations.

The format of eight-week courses (each worth four credits) allows students to focus – one at a time – on specific topics such as change management, strategic planning, social responsibility, fiscal planning, and knowledge management. Courses are available in a classroom setting or on line.
