Classical Piano and Violin on November 2
The concert includes two sonatas by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, a composition by Cesar Franck and Suite Populaire Espagnole (from seven folk songs) by Spanish composer Manuel de Falla.
Martín, a member of the Neumann College faculty, is a performer with international experience. She has played in Spain, Germany, Austria, Thailand, and the United States, including performances at Steinway Hall in New York City and the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. Martín has also premiered the work of Spanish women composers in national broadcasts from Madrid. A native of Spain, she earned her master’s degree and doctorate in piano performance from the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music.
