International Ballet Classique will perform The Nutcracker, a timeless Christmas classic, at Neumann College on December 12-16.
A one-hour, abridged version, created especially for children, is scheduled for December 12 and 13 at 9:30 and 11 a.m. each day. A full production of the show is set for December 14 and 15 at 7:30 p.m. and for December 16 at 2 p.m.
This beautiful ballet follows Clara and her Nutcracker doll on an enchanted journey into a child’s imagination. Along the way, they do battle with the Mouse King, meet the Dancing Snowflakes and the Sugar Plum Fairy, and the revel in the enchanted Land of Sweets where the toys come to life to entertain Clara and her Prince.
