Veteran television reporter Terry Ruggles will speak
at Neumann on Thursday, September 13, at 1:30 p.m. on the life of a news journalist.

The NBC 10 newsman has worked in the Delaware Valley for 30 years, reporting on local politics, the infamous MOVE confrontation, the 9/11 tragedy, and a host of other topics. Ruggles now co-anchors the NBC 10 News Today on weekday mornings and the NBC 10 News on weekday evenings.

In the lecture, he will share his experiences covering news in the Philadelphia market as well as his travels
to England, Germany, Haiti, and Saudi Arabia to get local angles on international stories.

The College’s Cultural Arts Forum is sponsoring the presentation by Ruggles. The lecture is open to the public with a general admission fee of $7 per person. The Forum is one of nine arts groups that comprise the Arts Guild at Neumann College.
