Len Schuler Inducted into Aston Sports Hall of Fame

Len Schuler was one of 13 people who were inducted into the Aston Sports Hall of Fame at the association’s annual awards dinner on March 20. Schuler, the assistant athletic director for facilities and intramurals at the College, took 10 of his teams to postseason tournaments in 18 seasons as women’s basketball coach. His women’s hoops teams won several Philadelphia Association of Intercollegiate Athletics championships.

In 12 years as athletic director at Neumann, he helped the school institute programs in cross country, baseball, soccer, field hockey, lacrosse and ice hockey. He was Neumann’s baseball coach for 15 years and was named Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 1999. He is the only Neumann coach to win more than 100 games with two programs.
