Spam Server

How can I check the spam server for missing emails?

The ITR department has completed its testing on the new spam server. The spam server has been adjusted to block spam email in an aggressive manner, so for that reason a few pieces of legitimate email could be trapped by the server. In order to check for missing email, you need to follow these steps provided:

1. Go to the spam server's web page by clicking on the link provided below.

http://spam.neumann.edu/quarantine

2. At the spam server's web page, type in your full Neumann (GroupWise) email address, for example: doej@neumann.edu

3. Type in your Neumann (GroupWise) email password and click login. The web page will appear in seconds.

4. Alertly browse through your spam email on the web page or pages.

5. If you find any email that you feel is worth saving please click on the release button on the web page.

6. The email will release to your GroupWise mailbox in a couple of minutes.

7.If there is no email worth saving you may highlight and delete the items by clicking on the delete button.

8. If you choose not to take any action just logout. The spam server will delete the unwanted email 10 days after it was first received.

If you need further assistance or detail on how the spam web page works please call the Neumann helpdesk line at (610) 558-5620 during daytime hours.
