Q: Who is the Student Government
Board?
A: We are a group of elected students to represent all full-time
matriculated students. We are composed of seventeen members who represent
the Neumann University Commuity.
Q: What is the Student Government Board?
A: The Student Government Association (S.G.A.) is a freely established
student organization that is officially recognized by Neumann University
and is self-funded through a Student Government Fee. All full-time matriculated
day students are members of the S.G.A. by virtue of the Student Government
Fee. The Student Government Board exists to solely serve and represent
the students of Neumann University. Student Government Board officials are
elected by their respective peers. The governing body of the S.G.A., the
Student Government Board (SGB), meets weekly and provides a public forum
to listen to student concerns and opinions and prepares steps to take
action on critical issues facing students all within the Franciscan Tradition.
Q: When are the Student Government Board meetings held?
A: Student Government meetings are held every other Monday at 4:30p.m. in the McNichol Room. Check the online Calendar for dates.
Q: Where is the Student Government Office located?
A: The Student Government Office is located in room 43B (Bachmann
Main Building, Ground Level, near the University Store).
Q: Why does the Student Government exist?
A: Student Government exists on campus to represent all full-time
matriculated students and their concerns. It is vital for students to
voice their opinion about positive and negative issues, so that we as
a student body, we as a university, we as members of society, can enhance
our College Community.

by once a week, we love to have volunteers help us out, join us for fun
times, and to experience what it is like to be apart a great Board. Please
