Frank Altamuro is a lawyer in the making and his passion for law inspired him to start the Neumann University Mock Trial Club.
“At Neumann they let you create your own club. I created the Mock Trial Club. We compete against other schools. One day, I hope to be a corporate attorney, one that works in business or a bank. I always loved math and I also like the field of law. Math and law are my two passions,” he said.
Altamuro is a busy man on campus and has involved himself in more than 15 clubs and organizations. Some of his many activities include president of Student Government, vice president of Students for Free Enterprise (SIFE), vice president of Omicron Delta Kappa, a Presidential Ambassador and Orientation Leader.
“I wanted to pick a school that had a lot of involvement opportunities. The first thing I heard at Neumann was ‘get involved.’ I think I took that pretty seriously,” he laughed.
After graduating from Neumann, Altamuro hopes to attend law school, become a CPA, and eventually practice tax or bankruptcy law. “Neumann has taught me determination. In the future I plan to give back, with time and resources to help others continue to be successful,” he said.
