As a Neumann Navigator, Bethany ends her tour by telling students that at Neumann all of your professors will know you by name and that it really is uniquely personal. “I liked the overall feel here. It’s comfortable. You don’t have to catch a bus to class; it’s not a 20 minute walk,” she said.
“Neumann is also accommodating to students. The Mirenda Center for Sport, Spirituality, and Character Development is awesome, and they just built new dorms. They listen to your voice here,” Bethany said.
Besides being a Neumann Navigator, Bethany is a member of the women’s basketball team, the Student Nurses Association, the Student Environmental Association, a Presidential Ambassador, and an Orientation Leader. “Being involved increases my friend network. I met an older nursing major who became my mentor, she has gone through the same things I have and really helps me. I want to meet as many new people as I can here,” she said.
