Supporting Our Students

Each of us is experiencing the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic. In work, with family and even in our faith, our lives have been affected. Perhaps those most affected are the members of our own community who are on the cusp of financial hardship - our students. Today, Neumann is innovating to support our students in these uncertain times. Neumann has always stood for finding a way: for the sisters to grow their ministry, for women to have access to education and for our students to achieve their degree and be the good news in the world. As a community we cannot let these dreams be deferred. We must continue our mission.

We ask you to join us today by helping us secure funding for the following priorities:

  • Student Emergency Support Fund: This fund is designed for a one-time assistance to ensure that students can continue their education despite acute financial impact.
  • Pathway to Graduation Fund: This fund is designed to ensure that juniors and seniors on the road to graduation who are adversely affected financially by the COVID-19 pandemic will make it across the stage and receive their degree.
  • Immediate Impact Fund: This fund is designed to help the University respond to the ever changing and emerging needs that the University will face in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, which may include an investment in online learning tools, online clinical simulations for nursing students, and other resources to support prospective students as they enroll for the upcoming fall.

We are in this together. Let us stand together and affirm our unprecedented mission. To those who have asked how to support our students – You can make an impact now, by making a gift online. As a community, we can ensure that Neumann and our Franciscan tradition remain steadfast in our mission and our ability to provide accessible and affordable education during a time of uncertainty.
