Success Coaching

The Success Coaching program takes a holistic approach to student success by:

• Strengthening academic (“school”) skills while fostering essential life and professional skills, including communication, resilience, self-advocacy, and time management.
• Helping students identify their strengths, build confidence, overcome challenges, and develop strategies for long-term academic and personal success.

The Success Coaching Program is available to all Neumann students, whether they are looking to strengthen their academic skills, stay on track, overcome challenges, or maximize their college experience. Our success coaches partner with students to build on their strengths, identify opportunities for growth, and work toward their academic and personal goals.

Students may choose to focus on:

• Organization
• Time management
• Motivation and accountability
• Learning and study strategies
• School-life balance
• Communication and self-advocacy
• Goal setting and decision-making
• Connecting with campus resources

Together, students and their success coach create a personalized plan to develop the knowledge, skills and strategies needed for success in college and beyond.

Tutoring

The Tutoring Team consists of professional and peer tutors who:

• Review class content and assignments in major and core subjects.
• Explore effective study and test preparation strategies.
• Meet with students individually or in small groups during “Drop-in hours” (no appointment needed) or by appointment.
