Veterans Education Benefits

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs administers benefits which provide educational assistance to service members, veterans and their dependents. Neumann University accepts and certifies payments through the GI Bill®; however, we do not determine eligibility for these types of benefits. There are several chapters of GI Bill® benefits—it is the student and family’s responsibility to confirm their eligibility through the Department of Veterans Affairs. If the student is admitted to Neumann University, they will need to submit a copy of the Certificate of Eligibility form from the VA that confirms the benefit type.

For the most comprehensive description, eligibility requirements and benefit information, please visit the Department of Veterans Affairs website.

Yellow Ribbon Program

Neumann University is proud to be a Yellow Ribbon School!

The Yellow Ribbon program helps eligible veterans to fund their post-secondary education. Under the G.I. Bill ®, the VA has agreed to pay the amount of the highest in-state public institution tuition. If the tuition and fees of the school in which the student wants to attend, exceeds the highest in state tuition, the excess money can be funded under the Yellow Ribbon program. Under the Yellow Ribbon program, the higher education institution has an agreement with the VA to help pay for the excess tuition and fees associated with the school. The higher education institution agrees to contribute a designated amount to the student tuition and fees, and the VA will match the amount.

Am I Eligible?
