The Jacquelyn Wilson Fegley '71 College of Nursing at Neumann University is hiring nursing clinical adjunct faculty in Nursing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in area of specialization and recent clinical experience required.
  • Teaching experience preferred.
  • Must be eligible for RN licensure in Pennsylvania and Delaware, and meet background study requirements according to institutional regulations, and Pennsylvania and Delaware statutes.

Job Title: Adjunct Instructor in Biology

The Neumann University School of Nursing & Health Sciences is seeking per course faculty adjuncts in Biology for our adjunct pool.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • We are especially interested in colleagues who can teach in-person sections of Anatomy and Physiology for Nursing and Health Science majors, Biochemical Lab Techniques and Cellular and Molecular Biology lecture and lab for Biology majors.

Job Title: Degree Completion & Graduate Programs - Admission Counselor


JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES:

Neumann University is currently seeking a qualified applicant for the full-time position of Degree Completion & Graduate Programs - Admission Counselor.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative systems and recruiting support through the following functions - recruiting for Adult and Graduate programs; data collection and reporting with outcomes assessment; managing recruitment database for program responsibilities; telephone/email and other forms of contact with applicants; meeting with potential students; planning and attending open house/information sessions on campus and at businesses and organizations.
  • Responsible for reviewing and preparing applicant files for departmental review and decision.
  • Work collaboratively with the Assistant Director & Enrollment Coordinator planning and implementing events for the department (information sessions, webinars, grad appreciation week, orientation etc.)
  • Responsible for all functions of recruitment for degree completion and graduate programs from inquiry through enrollment.
  • Maintain fall, spring, and summer, national travel schedule of no less than 8 months including applicant management and submission of travel expenses.
  • Establish and maintain contact with potential students via letter, telephone, email, text and/or face-to-face to encourage file completion and promote enrollment.
  • Accurately communicate to students the admission requirements for degree completion and graduate programs.
  • Work with the leadership in the office in planning travel schedule and coordinating recruitment activities with the Adult Continuing Education department and graduate faculty.
  • Provide technical and statistical support in gathering and processing information specific to marketing of and promotion (any event) for degree completion and graduate student populations, including retrieving information as needed for projects and reports.
  • Promote and participate in university events consistent with the degree completion and graduate programs brand.
  • Assist and support all levels of administration in achieving the university’s mission and strategic objectives for the “prospect to enrolled” student lifecycle.
  • Assist in planning and managing all admissions social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) as it relates to the degree completion & graduate program offerings
  • Work closely with the office leadership to create new partnerships and maintain relationships with organizations for recruitment.
  • Assist in creating marketing communication and materials

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience in the recruitment process in higher education desired.
  • Excellent communication skills, time management and organizational skills.
  • High energy, detail oriented professional.
  • Master’s degree in process; business or marketing degree - preferred
  • Current social media content creation a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with a diverse population.
  • Ability to maintain and manage information and documentation accurately.
  • Understanding of technology with preferred experience in Slate or comparable CRM.
  • Must be goal oriented, self-motivated, and flexible.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, be computer literate and have a valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle.

Job Title: Child Development Center – Co-Teacher – Full-Time


JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of a developmentally appropriate and diverse curriculum that supports the overall development of preschool aged children (3-5 years of age).
  • The Child Development Center (CDC) is a state-licensed child-care facility and enrolls children of Neumann University students, faculty, administration, staff, and from the surrounding community.
  • This position is Full-Time, Monday through Friday, with hours between 7:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., September through June annually, with the possibility of working the summer programming.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is required unless the candidate has an Associate’s degree, or higher, in Early Childhood Education or at least 30 college credits in education.
  • Recent experience working with children in an early learning environment (ECE) is preferred.

Job Title: TRIO/SSS Program Professional Tutors


JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES:

The TRIO/Student Support Services Program at Neumann University is currently seeking qualified applicants to tutor in the any of the following areas: reading/literacy (effective collegiate reading/study skills), business statistics, accounting, chemistry, biology, and anatomy & physiology. Responsibilities include: assisting students one-on-one in weekly scheduled appointments (in-person or virtual); identifying essential information; clarifying course content; supporting students in the development of appropriate research and study strategies; maintaining and submitting weekly electronic reports of services provided; reporting information about student progress to the TRIO director and coordinator.

Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree and experience working with diverse student populations; fine-tuned interpersonal and organizational skills; computer literacy; and work a flexible schedule.
