Online Courses

What is an online course or program?
Online courses are courses offered using technology. They enable students to take courses—and sometimes complete programs---online, as alternatives to coming on campus. Online courses are especially helpful for working adults who travel, who are juggling multiple priorities of home and work, and desire the convenience of taking courses from their homes or worksites. Many courses in our Degree Completion programs are offered fully online. All courses in our degree completion programs, including those offered “face to face” (f2f) include some online learning enhancements.

Course Registration

How do I Register for a Course?
If you’re ready to sign up for classes, please give your academic advisor a call. If you don’t know who your advisor is, just call our office at 610-361-5440 or 610-558-5629 and we will schedule time with an Advisor, either in person or via telephone conference call—whatever is convenient for you!

‘Already registered for a course, either online or face to face?
Now that you are registered for your course, you will need to have a Neumann University username and password. This information is critical in gaining access to your online course and your University email account. 




Email Access and Online Accounts for all Students

To set up your Neumann email and NU Learn (online learning platform) accounts: Call or email the Help Desk at 610-558-5620 or helpdesk@neumann.eduor visit them on campus in Bachmann Main Building, Computer Labs, ground floor


Email Access

Go to
At the top of the screen, click on Webmail and select Students.
 - Microsoft Outlook Live will open and ask you to sign in. 

NU Learn Online Courses and Supplemental Instruction

Go to
1. Click on Login at the top of the screen and select BlackBoard
2. Read through the Welcome to Online Learning Message
3. Click on the NU Learn Log In
4. Enter your user name and password

To find your textbooks for class:
Go to the University Bookstore Webpage   
   1. On top right – click on textbooks – select Course Materials 
   2. Select fall 2010 term, and Select Department "LS" for undergraduate
       or STLDR for graduate level 
   3. Click continue and find your course.

Enroll prior to May 15th – 11 months

Annual fee - $60.00

  Deferral Plan – semester payment plan
4 installments per semester (Fall & Spring semester)
Semester  fee - $40.00
Employer Reimbursement   Students who are reimbursed by an employer may be eligible to receive an extension for payment, provided that they have been enrolled at the University in the preceding semester, check University catalog for further information

14 days to refund from receipt of loans

Mailed home

Neumann Points:  Used to purchase meals, books, clothes, supplies
Purchase of Books:   If there is excess financial aid on account, go directly to the University Store to purchase books
