Neumann university offers three nurse practitioner programs: the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care (AGACNP), the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care (AGPCNP), and the Family/Individual Across the Lifespan (FNP). All program options also offer a Post-Master’s Certificate for students who already have an MSN degree.
As a grad of any of our graduate nursing programs, you’ll be prepared to offer evidence-based health promotion, disease prevention and healing treatment strategies in a variety of settings, while incorporating the RISES values learned at Neumann University. All nursing students will be eligible to sit for national certification in their chosen specialty upon completion of the MSN program.

Neumann's post-master’s certificates in nursing are perfect for students with an master's in nursing who want to improve their work-life balance and income potential by becoming a nurse practitioner. Current nurse practitioners are welcome to return to school to obtain another certification to meet their professional goals. Post-master's students will have a gap analysis completed to determine course progression.

MSN Program Admissions Requirements
Master’s degree in nursing applicants must have earned a BS in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution and have a current nursing license. Applicants are required to submit a current resume and two (2) letters of recommendation, one of which should be from a supervisor. Applicants pursuing Acute Care must be ACLS Certified and have at least one year of Acute Care experience. Applicants also must submit official transcripts from all institutions attended, and a graduate writing prompt. The writing prompt should outline personal and professional goals and how admission to the MSN program will facilitate professional objectives.

The Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner-Primary Care (AGPCNP) program offers 45 credits and 784 clinical practice hours and equips graduates to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered primary care for individuals of all adult ages, from adolescence (12 years and up) to older adults.
