




To complete the Social Work Minor, students must complete 18 credits - 12 credits of required Social Work courses and 6 Social Work elective credits.
REQUIRED COURSES (12 credits)
Students must complete SW 100, SW 210, and SW 315. Students may choose between SW 201 or SW 305 to fulfill these requirements.
SW 100 Introduction to Social Work (Prerequisite or may be used as a co-requisite with SW 200 level courses)
SW 201 Human Behavior in the Social Environment
OR
SW 305 Social Work with Communities and Organizations
SW 210 Diversity, Oppression, and Social Justice
SW 315 The Client Interview
ELECTIVE OPTIONS (6 credits)
Students may choose any two of the Social Work courses listed below to fulfill the remaining 6 credits and complete the Social Work Minor. Please note: If SW 201 was taken in order to fulfill the required courses listed above, then students may take SW 305 as an elective. If SW 305 was taken in order to fulfill the required courses listed above, then students may take SW 201 as an elective.
