Step 3: How to add a proxy

  1. On the "Add a Proxy” page you can view your active proxies, as well as select a proxy from the drop-down menu.

Please note, at this time you are not able to add a proxy directly on self-service. If you would like to add a proxy that is not listed, please reach out to the Registrar's Office.

Please be sure to review the FERPA regulations regarding self-service.

  1. You may choose the type of access you wish to grant your proxy. You may give complete access or access to select items. When granting complete/general access, this will include access and permission to speak to all the University's offices, such as Registrar, Financial Aid, and Business. The proxy will be able to speak about tuition, fees, final grades, etc. You can remove proxy access at any time.  Once you choose the type of access you wish to grant to your proxy, you will confirm that you authorize Neumann University to disclose your information to the proxy, then hit save.

Please be sure to review the disclosure agreement regarding self-service. You will not be able to proceed in granting your proxy access without authorizing the disclosure agreement.

Step 4 : Authorizations

  1. Once you have selected your Proxy, you and your proxy will be sent an email from ellucian@neumann.edu, please do not respond or send emails to this address. This email will advise the proxy on how to navigate the Neumann Self-Service. Please refer to the Proxy training video for additional self-service information.
  2. Please note, proxy access only allows the proxy verbal and self-service access. Any requests for written documentation must come directly from the student. Please refer to the Registrar's Office homepage on www.neumann.edu for our request forms to request a written document.

More items will be added to the student self-service soon.
