BS in Cybersecurity

BS in Cybersecurity – Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity degree, students will:
- Understand and articulate basic security concepts and models.
- Know how to defend against persistent and constantly evolving threats.
- Apply the latest technology, tools and systems to implement an in-depth defensive security model.
- Analyze cybersecurity risks at all levels and design inherently secure systems.
- Evaluate security trends and practices and measure the performance of security systems within an organization.
- Discover how to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of secure systems.
- Create both continuous and real-time network monitoring systems at all levels to analyze and detect malware and other cyberattacks.
- Assess computer system security using ethical hacking techniques.
