FOCUS2 is Neumann's research-backed career assessment that connects your personality, interests, and values to real career paths and to the majors offered right here on campus.

What is FOCUS2?

FOCUS2 is an online career planning system that uses a series of self-assessments to help you understand who you are and match you to real occupations using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The 5 assessments cover:

• Work Interests: Explore occupations and majors that match what interests you
• Personality: Explore occupations and majors that fit your personality type
• Skills: Explore occupations and majors that align with your skill set
• Values: Explore occupations and majors that align with your values
• Leisure Interests: Explore occupations and majors that match what you enjoy doing in your leisure time

"Combine Your Results" feature merges your results to see occupations and majors based on multiple assessments for more in-depth results.

FOCUS2 isn't a generic career quiz, it’s customized for Neumann. Your results map directly to the majors and programs offered by NU, so you can see the real connection between who you are and the education you're pursuing. Whether you're undecided, questioning your major, or just ready to confirm you're on the right track, FOCUS2 gives you a personalized, research-backed starting point.

Getting started

All you need is your Neumann email and the access code below to create an account. Complete all assessments in one sitting or come back anytime, your results are always saved.

New Users

• Step 1: Click the NU FOCUS2 Portal to create your account.
• Step 2: Enter the access code when prompted: Knights
• Step 3: Complete your registration using your Neumann email address.
• Step 4: After creating your account, you will be taken to the home page where you can begin your assessments.

Returning Users

• Log in with your username and password to access your Dashboard and previous results. If you forgot your username or password, use the FOCUS2 "forgot password" page and your login information will be sent to your email automatically.

Once you've completed your assessments, FOCUS2 opens up tools to explore, plan, and take action:

• See what you can do with a major offered at Neumann University
• Research specific occupations including job tasks, salary data, and growth outlook
• Browse careers by job family or industry
• Compare two occupations side-by-side
• Build and print your Career Portfolio
• Take the “AM I CAREER READY” assessment under Career Planning Foundations to see where you land on the skills in high-demand by employers.
  
  Once you complete FOCUS2 assessment, it is highly recommended that you  schedule an appointment to discuss your results with someone from the Center for Career and Professional Development.
