In 2024, Pennsylvania enacted the College Affordability and Transparency Act (PA Act 69) to increase financial transparency in higher education. The law requires colleges and universities to provide students and families with more comprehensive information about tuition, fees, financial aid, and the overall cost of attending college.

Neumann University is committed to helping students and families make informed financial decisions. The following information and resources are provided in accordance with PA Act 69.

Student Fee Transparency

Institutions must post all mandatory fees online before the start of the academic term in which the fees will be charged and included on a tuition bill. This information must include the purpose of each fee and a description of how the funds will be used.

Current Mandatory Fees

Information about mandatory fees for the current academic year, including fees reflected on student tuition bills.

2026–2027 Undergraduate & Graduate Tuition and Fees

Previous Academic Year Mandatory Fees

Information about the total amount of mandatory fees collected during the previous academic year. Previous academic year data will be posted annually by November 15.

Higher Education Cost Transparency

Institutions must provide prospective students with comprehensive information about college costs and financial aid as part of the admissions and financial aid offer process. This information helps students and families make informed decisions when selecting a college or university.

Tuition and Cost of Attendance

Information about first-year tuition, mandatory and optional fees, housing and meal plan options, and estimated costs for books and supplies.

An estimated total Cost of Attendance (COA) is also included in prospective students' financial aid offer letters, which can be accessed through the Neumann Experience Student Portal.

Financial Aid and Renewal Requirements

Information about institutional financial aid programs, including whether awards are renewable each year and the requirements students must meet to maintain eligibility.

Student Employment Opportunities

Explore available student employment opportunities that may help students offset educational expenses while gaining valuable work experience.

Net Cost of Attendance

Review information about the estimated net cost of attendance, calculated by subtracting scholarships and grants from the total cost of attendance. Students can also explore estimated costs for future academic years.

Previous Tuition and Estimated Future Costs

Review tuition and fee information from the previous academic year, along with projected tuition and fee estimates for future years through completion of a student's academic program.

Exit Counseling

Institutions must provide financial aid exit counseling to students at the end of their final academic term or when a student stops attending. Students may elect not to participate in this counseling.

Federal Student Aid (FSA) Federal Loan Exit Counseling does not replace this requirement. Exit counseling may be completed in person or online and provides students with information about their student loan repayment responsibilities and available financial assistance programs.

Student Loan Payment Assistance and Forgiveness

Explore federal and state programs that may help eligible borrowers manage, reduce, or receive forgiveness of their student loans.

Student Loan Repayment Options and Calculators

Learn about available student loan repayment plans and use an online calculator to estimate monthly payments and compare repayment options.
