A fourth-generation leader of the company, he has guided EDiS to significant industry recognition, including the ABC Delaware STEP Diamond Award for safety and multiple Excellence in Construction Awards.

Known for visionary leadership, Brian has driven transformative projects such as the Town of Whitehall, a $1 billion master-planned community reimagining a “turn-of-the-last-century” town from the ground up. He currently serves as Chairman of the Delaware Business Roundtable, where he collaborates with business and civic leaders to advance the state’s priorities in education, workforce development, infrastructure, and innovation. Brian is deeply committed to philanthropy and public service.

Ward Fitzgerald is the CEO and founder of ExCorde Capital, a private equity firm specializing in real estate debt and equity markets. With decades of experience, Ward is a recognized leader known for innovation, strategic vision, and delivering value.

Brian’s philanthropic endeavors include co-founding 22in22 with his son Jacob, a national campaign to bring awareness and funding to prevent military suicide and organizing Vet Fest in the Town of Whitehall. He serves on the Advisory Board of Stop Soldier Suicide and as U.S. Chairman of the Board for NAUH, a nonprofit founded by North Korean defector Ji Seong Ho.

Prior to Exeter, Ward was a senior executive at Rouse/Liberty Property Trust, a $7 billion publicly traded REIT. He led the company’s IPO in 1994, establishing Liberty as a prominent player in real estate. With expertise across logistics, office/life sciences, multifamily, and cold storage, Ward has consistently excelled in diverse asset classes.

Brian is engaged in cultural and educational leadership as a Trustee of Neumann University in Pennsylvania, and a Board Member of the Philadelphia Zoo. His prior corporate leadership includes co-founding and chairing Delaware Sterling Bank & Trust Company (later acquired by PNC Bank), serving as former Chairman of the Board of the Grand Opera House in Delaware, and serving as former Chairman of the National Advisory Council for Butler Manufacturing.

In 2025, he was named CEO of the Year by Delaware Business Times, recognizing both his leadership and the continued growth of EDiS.

BPG develops and acquires hotel, office, residential, retail, and parking properties, and sports and entertainment venues throughout the United States. Chris leads the firm’s investment management platform, Corten Capital, and its commercial management affiliate BPG Real Estate Services, LLC; and is a director of PM Hotel Group, Inc, a hotel management company with nearly 16,000 rooms under management. In addition, Chris co-founded and is co-owner of Major League Soccer’s Philadelphia Union.

Chris is the Chairman of the YPO Intercontinental Chapter, a member of the Board of Trustees of Wilmington Friends School, a member of the University of Delaware President’s Leadership Council, the Delaware Business Roundtable, and Hagley Museum and Library Council of Advisors.

Chris received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University and lives in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania with his wife Mati, and their three children Claudina, Tomás and Roberto. Chris enjoys the outdoors, skiing, biking, golfing, hunting, bee keeping, traveling and most of all, time spent with his wife and children.

BPG develops and acquires hotel, office, residential, retail, and parking properties, and sports and entertainment venues throughout the United States. He is responsible for and leads the company’s residential, commercial, retail, parking, sports and entertainment development activities. Since co-founding the company, Rob has grown the company to over $6 billion in transactions, including ownership of six million square feet of office and retail space, over 10,000 hotel rooms, 3,500 apartments and four live entertainment venues.

Rob is also a Co-Founder and Partner of Corten Real Estate Management LLC where he oversees the Firm’s multifamily investment strategy. In addition, Mr. Buccini is a co-founder and co-owner of Major League Soccer’s Philadelphia Union.

Prior to founding BPG, Rob was employed by the New York City Economic Development Corporation. Rob received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Cornell University.
