Who can I contact about a question 
on my student account?

Please contact the Business Office as soon as possible with any questions about your account. The Business Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 5:00.

When will I receive the tuition bill?

Tuition bills are sent by the Business Office in mid-July for the fall semester and in mid-December for the spring semester. Monthly billing statements are mailed throughout the year to students who have a balance on their account. Late fees of $50 are assessed every month that the account is past due. Payments can be made with cash, check or credit cards. (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express)


What will be included on the bill?

The tuition bill will include tuition charges, fees, room and board, meal plans, any other miscellaneous charges. The bill will also include any payments, TMS payments and disbursed and pending financial aid.


Does Neumann offer any payment plans?

Neumann offers a deferral payment plan option. Forms are available on the "Jump to" Business Office site. Another option is Tuition Management Systems (TMS) which offers monthly payment arrangements. They can be contacted at 1-800-356-8329.

Does the bill have to be paid in full by the due date?

Yes, all financial obligations must be complete by the due date. Failure to pay an outstanding balance will result in a financial hold being put on the student's account. This will prevent the student from registering for the next semester's courses, receiving grades, transcripts or a diploma.


Does the bill have to be paid in full if I am waiting for financial aid, grants or loans?

All financial aid forms must be completed and sent to the Financial Aid office by the established deadlines of that office. Once the forms are complete and approved they will be incorporated into the balance due.


Is the work study grant factored into the bill?

No, a work study grant is earned on the number of hours a student works for the college. The students receive a pay check to compensate them for the hours they work.


What can I do if my bank loan has not been approved by the semester bill due date?

Pay your amount due in full, and when your loan arrives, a refund will be issued, or opt for the deferral payment plan and make payments until your loan arrives.


What should I do if my private scholarship proceeds are not listed as a credit on my semester bill?

If your scholarship agency requires an invoice directly from Neumann University, send a letter from the agency authorizing Neumann to bill the agency for payment. You may then deduct the amount of the scholarship. If you have a scholarship check in your possession, endorse the check and mail it with any additional payment due.


Where do I go to change my meal plan?

Meal plan adjustments can only be made the first two weeks of the semester. Fill out the form for Meal Plan Changes on the "Jump to" Business Office site and send or bring it to the Business Office.


When can I expect to receive my financial aid refund?

Financial aid refunds are generally mailed out 7 to 10 days after the funds have arrived and are processed onto your account.


What are Neumann Points?

Neumann points are actually dollars you place on your student ID card as a prepaid account. This card can be used all over campus, including the bookstore, the laundry room and all of the cafeterias. All you do is present your Neumann ID card to the cashier at the time of purchase and the amount will be deducted from your account balance.


How can I purchase Neumann Points?

Neumann points can be purchased at the Business Office (room 104) with a minimum deposit of $25.00. Or, you can complete the form on the Business Office website and mail it to the Business Office.
