How to apply to Neumann University
You're looking for the right fit, and we're looking for dedication and passion. Our admission staff carefully reviews each application to make sure applicants are a successful match for Neumann University. Decisions are largely based on high school GPA in a college-prep curriculum or your community college educational experience, a personal recommendation, and a personal statement presenting your ability to effectively form and articulate thoughts in writing.
Once the Office of Admission has received these documents your application will be reviewed, and you will receive your admission decision by letter.
Incoming students will need to provide an affidavit of support with financial statements showing you or your sponsor can fund at least a year's worth of tuition and housing along with a photocopy of your passport.

Applicants who attend secondary school where English is the language of instruction for a minimum of three years may have the proof of English proficiency requirement waived. Neumann University reserves the right to request an interview as a part of the admission process.

The baccalaureate Nursing and Health Science Programs require a minimum overall score of 84, with a minimum score of 26 on the verbal subtest on the Internet-based TOEFL; or a minimum overall score of 81 with a speaking score of 3 on the MELAB.
In order to obtain the immigration documents to be eligible for an international student visa F-1, Homeland Security requires students to demonstrate an official copy of the bank statements showing the total amounts below based on your program. Regardless of if you will live on or off-campus, or you will have more affordable accommodations, you still need to show the estimated amount to cover all living expenses around campus.
If you have been awarded a scholarship or a Graduate assistantship from Neumann, you may deduct the scholarship amount and demonstrate the remaining funds in a bank statement plus the letter that confirms the award.

Neumann offers Academic and other Scholarships and awards to F-1 international students based on the applicant's academic record and other factors.

Additionally, Neumann University offers all full-time degree-seeking international students the option of working on campus up to 20 hours per week, as allowed under the terms of their student visas. Positions are often available in food service, maintenance and administrative offices.

The Office of Global Engagement was created to assist international students with questions regarding government regulations, social and academic adjustment, personal matters and other concerns.
Neumann University fields 21 teams with approximately 300 student-athletes competing in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Division III. Those are: baseball, basketball, field hockey, golf, ice hockey, indoor track, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, track & field, and volleyball. Our hockey teams are especially strong. Neumann University is located in Aston, Pennsylvania, a quiet and safe residential neighborhood, 30 minutes from Philadelphia. On-campus housing in secure student dormitories is an option, if reserved well in advance.
Philadelphia is the 5th largest city in the United States and is conveniently located between New York City and Washington DC, both of which are approximately a two hour direct train ride away. The Philadelphia International Airport is only 20 minutes from the campus.
Philadelphia is home to over 50 colleges and universities that are a great social and personal support network for international students.
