Knight Nation Kickoff weekend

what to expect during Knight Nation Kickoff Weekend.

Your first weekend at Neumann University is more than just a schedule of events—it’s your launchpad into college life. This is your chance to meet new friends, explore your campus, and discover how you’ll make your mark as a Knight.

Starting on Thursday, August 27th, the Division of Student Life kicks off with Move-In Day for residential students and a Commuter Check-In designed to help everyone feel at home. That evening, we bring everyone together—students, families, and staff—for a Welcome BBQ.

Over the next few days, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in sessions that cover everything from navigating your classes to getting involved on campus. Evening brings fun, optional social events where you can unwind and bond with your classmates.  These are the moments where friendships are formed, and memories are made.

The weekend wraps up the first mass of the semester on Sunday, August 30th, at 7 pm in the Sacred Heart Chapel. By then, you won’t just know your way around—you’ll feel like you belong.

Why you don’t want to miss it:

  • Meet the people who’ll be part of your college journey
  • Get a head start on navigating campus life
  • Discover resources that will support your success
  • Start building your Neumann story from day one

Residential Move-In
Move-In Day for new students is set for Thursday, August 27th, and it’s designed to be smooth, welcoming, and exciting! Each student will receive a time slot to check into their residence hall and unload belongings, based on their assigned building and floor.

Later that night , you’ll join your first Commuter Community Meeting, led by fellow commuter student leaders—students who understand your experience and are here to support you. More details will be sent to your Neumann University email in August, so be sure to check in regularly!
